Mondeo Mk3, Injectors Coding HELP!! Hello guys, i need a help with my Mondeo mk3 2.0 tdci, 2003. Recently i got mondeo mk3 with some problems which i try to solve now. Ex owner told me that he swap bad engine with the good one, but problem is that the new engine is from 2002 mondeo mk3. 2.0 tdci 85kw 115hp. Original one was 130hp 96kw.

Finally traced the problem to a broken wire going to the map sensor now have no problems reaching 3 figure speeds. Not that I have ever been that fast

the tddi is less refined than the tdci common rail,with a 2.0 tdci you will get around 130bhp,but some of the common faults are some of the common faults are, injectors - the delphi injectors are not the most reliable and often loose there code or pack up all togeather so look for black smoke

Hold in the odometer reset in and turn on the ignition. Scroll though the tests by pushing the button. Make sure the temp' gauge does a full sweep at first. That will rule that out as the problem.
