2008 530d LCI - DSC/ABS issue. Got a head scratcher here. My car has developed a fault that I can't figure out, whenever I turn at normal traffic speeds, the traction control begins to brake slightly, if I turn an even sharper corner the car will grind to a complete stop. I have to drive with DTC on, otherwise the car is pretty much undrivable.

E60 Coolant dissappearing Help needed. Hi guys , hoping you can help me with a real weird problem. So a few weeks ago I noticed my coolant was disappearing and there was gunk on the coolant cap (pic attached). There were no visible leaks so my local indy had a look and told me the water pump was faulty and there was a leak near it.
535d is a great car but, think carefully before buying it. The engine is more complicated and that can lead to expensive falut finding if anythig does go wrong. Try a 530d it may tick all the boxes for you without the need for a higher level of techncal risk. And you will have cheaper insurance and running costs. The YOUCANIC Full System Scanner can read fault codes from all control modules of your BMW vehicle. Locate the diagnostic port under the dashboard. Plug your scanner into the diagnostic port and turn on the scanner. Select the BMW model from the main menu. Select Auto Scan to scan all the modules. The car is fitted with auto-dimming wing-mirror glass, which had delaminated on the drivers side as is common. At over £380 for a non BMW piece of glass, I'd hate to have priced them from a dealer. Needless to say, I opted for a pair of non-dimming blue-tinted items for £34 off Amazon meaning both just got replaced to keep them the same.
Pozdrav drugari, vlasnik sam E60 530D automatik, i imam problem sa obrtajima, tacnije kada sam u voznji i pustim gas, desava se da mi obrtaji variraju npr sa 2000 na 1700-1800 obrataja, i tako u krug, padaju i dizu se. Takodje mi se desava kad dam kickdaun, pocne da puni ali se kao malo ugusi pa probije. kao da je lenj, ne napuni kickdaun kako treba.

Running a 180k 530d now, problems have been many electrical faults, car cutting out, airbag faults etx, all down to a dodgy alternator, which was changed and the car has been fine ever since,

Same issues remained. I have checked most of the common electrical fail points I can think of: battery is fine, alternator is good, battery connections are fine, engine grounding is good, replaced the 30g relay. My feeling is also that this is a CAS-related issue. Especially as most of the fault codes are CAS related.

4020 DDE: Exhaust backpressure sensor before particulate filter, signal (frequency 255, fault type: permanent) 155832km. 4687 DDE: Throttle valve (freq: 1) 165616km. My current mileage is 169300km. I guess the serious ones are the "exhaust backpressure sensor" and "Steering-angle sensor, wiper contact" errors.
