Posted September 5, 2010. i do not see how a clutch depressed can affect a turbo, it sound like you have two problems, the noisy clutch is most likly the release bearing on its way out, if the turbo is not working it could be many things like split intercooler pipe, clogged egr, accuator problem, boost problem or the turbo itself, without

You should be able to squeeze 200hp from 1l turbo whit "relative" ease. ( durability is whole different story). But - personally i i'm more interested about the 140hp variant of the 1l ecoboost. According to ford ETIS there is 140hp 1l ecoboost available, and it would be nice to find way to "unlock" it on the 125hp model.
Team work !! I've not had much to do with the 2.0, but have tested and failed the actuator vacuum solenoid on a couple occasions. The 1.0 suffers with P132B and tends to be a failed one way valve in the vac pump, but I'm unsure (without looking) if the 2.0 has a similar vac' layout or not.
Ford’s 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine was launched in the Ford Focus in 2012, and uses Ford EcoBoost technologies including high-pressure direct fuel injection, Twin-independent Variable Cam Timing and turbocharging to deliver optimised fuel efficiency alongside the power and performance of a naturally aspirated 1.6‑litre engine. The 1.6 ECOboost basically replaced the old 2.0 Duratec. However despite the new technology it is still an old engine. The original Sigma engine was introduced in 1995 when fuel economy was not that important. Because of the old design the 1.6 ECOboost is not the most fuel efficient engine.
The fact of the matter is you now require a new engine and you will be extremely unlikely to get anyone to make any kind of financial contribution for the replacement. A brand new Ford 1.0 Ecoboost engine can be bought from Puma Speed for around £1999. They also offer a supply and fit of a new engine for about £2999 but of course you will
It is typically set on late model Ford vehicles. Some issues that may cause the code to appear include a defective crankcase pressure sensor, electrical issues, and a defective PCV valve. Symptoms to look out for include poor fuel economy, gasket leaks, and an illuminated check engine light.

Ford Model: Focus 1.5 tdci. Ford Year: 2015. UK/Ireland Location: Bedfordshire. Posted April 17, 2019. Hi I have a Focus 1.5tdci 2015. The aircon is not working I have topped it up and it shows pressure but the compressor doesn't seem to be kicking in. I have checked fuses and they are ok. Is there anything I have missed. Thanks in advance.
But not everyone can stretch to cars like these. Ford says it can offer a more sensible solution and this is it, the Focus EcoBoost Hybrid, most affordably offered in 125PS form. This model adds mild hybrid tech to the company's usual 1.0-litre EcoBoost three cylinder petrol engine to create a small but significant improvement in efficiency.
