For the rest of the world, Ford recommends using 0W-40 for the RS, so its not out of line to really do this. In fact, it's difficult to find 5W-50 on the store shelfs, but thanks to the European cars, 0W-40 is readily available. And when you do find 5W50 otc,it's always $10+ a quart.
Hopefully Ford will ditch Powershift in 2020 and sell genuine autos with TORQUE CONVERTERS. I will be keeping my old reliable Mondeo until Fords gets back to normal. Removal of auto transmission oil pan. Once your oil pan is off, removed the filter sensor electrical connection. It will just unplug and you can then remove the auto transmission oil filter. I looked at the sump doesent look like it's been changed. More than likely the tech did not reset it on your instrument cluster.
